These sessions focus on building understanding and boosting confidence, using real-world examples, practical activities, and your child’s own interests to bring maths to life, so much so, they often don’t even realise they’re learning.
What makes our maths sessions so special?
No two children learn in exactly the same way – and we believe their maths sessions shouldn’t look the same either. That’s why every session at Lighthouse Tuition (South-West) is thoughtfully tailored to suit your child’s unique needs, learning style, and interests.

We weave maths into real-life situations, from baking and shopping, to football scores and favourite toys, helping children see the why behind the numbers. With plenty of hands-on resources, creative games, and visual aids, concepts become clearer, more concrete, and far more engaging.

For our SEND learners, we provide a calm, supportive environment with structure, patience, and plenty of encouragement. Whether it's breaking tasks into manageable steps or using sensory-friendly materials, we make sure learning feels accessible and enjoyable.
