At Lighthouse Tuition (South-West), we know that not every child finds English, phonics or reading easy - and that’s perfectly okay. Whether your child finds reading and writing a bit of a struggle, or they’ve simply lost their spark when it comes to sounding out words, our sessions are here to help.
These sessions are all about building confidence, filling in any gaps, and making phonics click - through fun, games, and stories that truly engage.
What makes our sessions special?
We don’t just follow a script - we use our own integrated stories that work alongside the systems schools already use (like Letters and Sounds, Little Wandle, or Read Write Inc).
These stories are playful, purposeful and tailored to your child’s level – so learning feels fun, not forced.
From silly rhymes and active games to hands-on storytelling, we make sure your child learns in a way that suits them. And because we teach through laughter, play, and connection, children often don’t even realise they’re learning - they’re just having a great time!
